A drainage easement behind my parents old property was my favorite scrap of land for over three decades. I loved the shifting local plants, the flooding, and the animals. This is a small work made in part from observation and part in the studio. The single session of work is evident in the lively brushstrokes and sparse construction of the composition. It is my most modestly priced option for an original oil painting.
